Pattaya, October 7 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Tuesday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Chayagrit from the Provincial Special Investigations Unit arrested an American National on the strength of an arrest warrant which claimed he was in possession of firearms. A team of officers who were assisted by Transnational Crime Suppression Officers from Region 2 made their way to a house located in Pong Municipality occupied by Mr. Jerry Allen Wallin aged 62 from USA and his Thai Girlfriend. Police entered the house and conducted a search under the watchful eye of Mr. Wallin who appeared relaxed during the entire process which saw his taken to the Transnational Crime Suppression Unit located at the front of Pattaya Police Station. There he was seen to joke with officers even though a stash of weapons and bullets were found inside the house. He was even seen to handle one of the guns while in custody. The warrant for his arrest was issued following complaints from neighbors who were aware of his arsenal of weapons and even claimed to hear the guns being expelled from time-to-time. Mr. Wallin claimed the weapons were all licensed under the name of his former Thai Wife and she still owned the guns but had yet to remove them from his house.
