Julian2
Never tried it. Considered by many to be the best beer in SE Asia. I had someone tell me once it won't give you a hangover but he obviously hadn't drank as much of it as I had. Hard to find outside of bars in Thailand so I usually drank Leo at home. San Miguel Light is a nice drop also that's making an appearance on supermarket shelves here.
eyebee
I'll vote for Beer Lao too. It's probably the tastiest beer in Thailand. Although it's brewed in Laos, it's available in many bars in Pattaya and Bangkok. Mind you, back in the UK, nothing beats the taste of Tetley Bitter - now THERE'S a beer.... CTO
Munchie - without including Beer Laos your poll is rather vacant.
sayjann
i voted for Kilkenny. i like a nice smooth draught bitter, always like to pop into the Irish pubs to see what is available. not a great lover of lager but will drink Singha when in a Thai bar. but my personal fave is a nice ice cold glass of cider. The_Munchmaster
Not included coz I'd never heard of it and now that I have heard of it I have no recollection of ever seeing it or anyone drinking it. Sounds like it's popular though. P.S. Please do not refer to my poll as vacant!
CTO
Well - I can't name a bar that sells Kloster in Thailand anymore - local production ceased a while back - I don;t know half the german beers but I guess someone sells them - but I can name a dozen bars that sell Laos and sell out regularly. Mind you - it tastes far better when drunk in Laos than Bangkok.
The_Munchmaster
Yeah, can't recall seeing Kloster for a while. Never liked it though, too sweet. It did get 2 votes though. When I first came to LOS the only beers I can recall being available were Singha, Singha Gold and Kloster.
