Steve
Surprised there isn't a post on this. Maybe there is and I didn't see it. There are emails from global warming proponents that suggest that they may have fudged data or whatever. Basically, the ones for it have emails that suggest they don't believe what they are for. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cif-green/2009/nov/23/global-warming-leaked-email-climate-scientists Now, I don't know enough to be for or against. I don't know. I have my own reasons for changing from an oil based econommy and its not global warming. Its about neutralizing the power of the middle east oil producing countries. That said, and getting back to the original topic, is why? Why would they want to fudge the data? I don't understand the 'whys'? Can someone help me? Thread was started on 27 Nov, but did not get many hits. This appears to be a somewhat sardonic opeion piece. TH
ozpharlap
Copenhagen climate talks in 'disarray'. TALKS at the United Nations climate change conference in Copenhagen have broken down over leaked documents indicating that wealthier nations would be given more power in future climate change negotiations. The secret draft agreement worked on by a group of individuals known as "the circle of commitment" - understood to include the UK, US and Denmark - has only been shown to a handful of countries since it was finalised this week, The Guardian reports.
