UDD calls for PM to leave country

A United Front for Democracy against Dictotorship leader early on Saturday night called for Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to dissolve the House of Representatives and leave the country immediately.

Veera Musikhapong, the UDD chairman, condemned the government, alleging it to have let soldiers to crack down on the red-shirt protesters with weapons on Ratchadamnoen avenue.

He said the UDD's fight against the government had reached its peak, and callled for the red shirts throughout the country to gather at the city halls in their provinces.

Mr Veera said a number of red shirts would be moved from Ratchaprasong, under the leadership of Nathawut Saikua and Arisman Pongruangrong, to protect the other rally base at Phan Fa bridge where the government aimed to seize tonight.

The Regime shows the world the real face - once again. :offline:

When the redshirts hurled bombs and grenades and threatened to blow up skytrain stations, were they showing their real face by doing that?

Not sure what country you live in, but I'm guessing the results would be similar there if a mob stormed the parliament building, blocked downtown areas for weeks, tried to storm an army base(?!?!?!) etc etc. The question is how many countries in the world would have put up with this for as long as they have.

I mean, be real. They've been trying their hardest for almost a month to provoke some kind of crackdown -- daring them to.

The question...what are they really protesting? why the present gov doesn't have a chat with them? why do they have to go to these extremes?

Look beyond the obvious...

A Regime don't talk - they shoot' date=' as everywhere on this planet.[/quote']

Mentors, what the f*ck does someone from Switzerland know about "regimes" or anything else for that matter?! :shakehead

A Regime don't talk - they shoot, as everywhere on this planet.

You must be really brainwashed. If in Switzerland or Germany mob troops of a convicted ex dictator would paralyze the whole capital, the reaction of the government would be much harsher. And they would have my absolute support.

I was working in Langsuan and saw many of these called democracy fighters. I am sure not even 10% of them have the slightest clue what about a democracy is. They are a paid mob of desperate ex dictator.
