Firstly Mumbai is pretty expensive - even the hotels are so expensive its unbelievable for a 3rd world country. Went to Topaz bar - no entry free - drinks around Rps 200/300 not bad. Totally not a rip off joint all open even the prices. Dancers are fully clothed and are some of the most beautiful. Ask waiter for change to give to the dancers. Rs 10/20 per time. No rude dancing or hanky panky in here. Now taking women out - unless you can show a lot of cash a definite no no. Best time to go is later on in the evening - 12.30 -1.30 - when there are less people. Now management dont agree to taking anyone out, however was told by waiter free to approach and ask the women yourself. Hmm problem here - I dont speak Hindi - but had an a friend who did. Some women will refuse you blatantly, others will come out with you - however later on in the night. Decided to leave - went to Voodo bar. Definite outright pick up joint. S/T 2000-3000 Rps + Rs 300 for hotel. Long time - 3k - 6k. Depending on if your good looking or not. Hotel did not seem to object to bringing back ladies - though I can tell you there were certainly some stares there even with 2 staff on the counter at well past 2.am. Just does not feel as comfortable as LOS. Bringing here out at midday was or seemed a little embarassing as well. Its just does not seem to be the done thing here ! Anyway the beauty I met - well what a excellent experience it was - and well worth the cash. The sweetest thing on the planet and she was so nice - much like the Samui babes, but much prettier. She dressed in a lovely indian dress. So polite and will serve your tea in the morning before she serves her self. Female ettiquite hmm. I would like to have taken her home with me. If anyone wants any further info let me know. Ps - Im interested to know what the hotels think of bringing guests back - any ideas ? Any questions - happy to help out. This possible only in the 5 star hotel's and yes a lot of things do happen in the big hotels. Forget the brothels in India, if you are going there, you are sure catch something The only other options are, look for Health & Massage services in the local daily. These are nothing but escort services. They will come only if you are in decent or 5 star hotel. Call them and it usualy ST is 3 to 5 k. At least in Delhi where I travel often these ads come everyday in the Times of India. An escort will have no problems in getting to your room as there seems to be some sort of arrangement with the hotel. As for a freelancer - do not bring her back with her 'clubbing' clothes - this caused me problems with hotel management. If she is smartly dressed and conserative, she will blend into the hotel and they dont seem to have a problem with that. Finally I would refrain from going to the local brothels they are dirty and I would assume that the incidence of HIV is through the roof. p.s. Hotel rates - I paid 100 USD per night for a 4* which I thought was a bargin - unfortunately not ! Try and get a local to haggle for you - apparently - though not confirmed the Taj Mahal should be able for under 100USD per night (It advertises at 150 - 200USD!) Look in the Indian Times classisifed section under the Health/massage section, they are all escorts but u nead a place. Call them and if your lucky they could have a place.
