MooNoi
I will be in Bangkok with a mate this Christmas and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a decent Christmas lunch? (Staying Suk Soi 4 - Nana). Maybe Landmark? Westin? Novotel Siam Square? Don't mind paying a bit for a decent lunch. Any suggestions welcome! (Would love to go to Cent's restaurant for lunch but I think Surin might be a little far for a day trip!! Lol)
TroyinEwa/Perv
It's been said many a time but I don't think one can go wrong going to Bourbon St. I've been one year for Thanksgiving and it was a good layout all you can eat for a decent price. MooNoi
Sorry Perv.... can you enlighten me? Never been there - where is it? Is Bourbon St the name of the restaurant or the name of the Soi? Thanks mate!

bust
Have had friends do the xmas thing at Landmark and said it was pretty good. Not sure about cost but I guess it's walking distance.
TroyinEwa/Perv
I found info for 2008 for Bourbon St that the price was 899. Can't find it for 2009. Also found info on Landmark for 2008. Maybe 2009 didn't exist. Anyway, here is that info.... Dec 24-25: The Atrium offers a Christmas Eve dinner buffet at 1,900 baht net and a Christmas Day brunch and dinner buffet at 1,500 baht net. Huntsman Pub offers a traditional British Christmas Eve set menu at 1,200 baht net including a pint of draught beer (800 baht net cover charge with 2 drinks and lucky draw), and a Christmas Day roast buffet at 1,200 baht net. Here is a link that's from 2008 but will give alternate ideas and at least a ballpark figure for prices. Note the Dusit's price. Link
Flashermac
What's with the "great" specials that include a pint of beer or a glass of wine. Whoopee.
USVirgin
Wasn't it Bourbon St. where Nanapong often organized their xmas dinner? (Never been to one, or even been in Thailand over xmas.) Can't go too wrong there though.
