Lusty
The guy in the IT Mall in Pattaya said it can't be done and I reckon it is but then I'm no expert. So,is it possible to use a Laptop as a monitor for a PS3,what cables are needed, and special software etc? Thanx in advance.
radioman
Hmm, most monitor ports on laptops are outputs, for sending the laptop signals to other monitors projectors etc. Don't believe I've ever seen a laptop with a video input port. A better bet might be one of the cheap Chinese portable DVD machines. They usually have auxillary video input ports. About 1000 baht from a market stall I'd say. khunsanuk
Hi, I'd say your best bet would be using an HDMI cable if your laptop can handle it. See no reason why that would not be possible. Sanuk!
radioman
If the laptop has an HDMI port, lots of new ones do for sure, do they accept video input?
LizardKing
I think you need something like this: http://reviews.pricegrabber.com/video-capture-devices/m/16656015/ Just plugging it in will not work as laptops are configured for video/HDMI OUT not video/HDMI in.
