gawguy
Jailbreaking seems like a great idea and is much promoted by some of the lads here. I just got a new iPod that fell from the sky. I approached it like a caveman - I watched it from the bushes for awhile, then later I poked it with a stick, finally I touched it. Now we've even started to communicate. However, there are some warnings about jailbreaking that have to with "tethering" being a pain in the arse, and tethering may come into play when OS is upgraded so avoid upgrades at all costs...and so forth. I'm probably going to loose the damn thing anyway since it's so small, but while I have it I would like it to work, not turn into the proverbial brick. What should I do? What is the worst case scenario?

Coss
There's plenty of tutorials on iClarified.com about JBreaking. No need to get Somchai to do it. A little research, and you can take ownership of the process. Having someone else JB your phone is a little like paying someone else to Monger for you, you wake up in the morning, as she's leaving and wonder what it was that happened. Or... if you're not sure why you need to JB, then you probably don't need it. Unlocking the phone from At&T or Verizon is a different matter. And advice: if unlocked, never update from iTunes. You may lose the unlock. just my 2 bahts worth
