Encore Posted April 10, 2011 Report Share Posted April 10, 2011 Bugger! I bought my new 15" Powerbook in BKK just two months ago, just before the new line came out. So only have the dual core. I did get it with 8Gb and the 500GB/7200 rpmhard disc, and the non gloss screen. Just downloaded Geekbench, because you made me curious. Score 6279. The programme also tells me the machine was built in 2010. It did come straight out of Singapore, I had to wait ten days for it to arrive. But in comparison to my 2004 17" Powerbook, it still flies! I've come to know and love Adobe Lightroom per your suggestion, but I still edit in Photoshop. Now I'm thinking about a Canon HD camcorder to replace my old PAL XL1 - I've got amazon gift vouchers to burn http://goo.gl/YsIN4 Canon VIXIA HF M41 streets ahead of the XL1 which cost $6K in the day.
