I mean, besides the crusades, the inquisition, the terrorism in name of Allah, etc etc. Sanuk! Societies without religion. Communist China and the old USSR, two huge countries that either banned or severely limited religion. Lets not mention communist Cambodia with the Khmer Rouge. We (humans) would simply find something else to fight about That's what I think as well. Our basic instincts can be very violent. As a species we are capable of so much good and so much evil.
