limbo
Farm Chock Chai is on the way back, near Bangkok, might make for a nice stop. Ban Chiang National Museum is near Korat and Patchanee restaurant in Udon went down well with us. Enjoy your trip, lovely area and a trip to Vientaine is definitely recommended. Pom Michael
Trip - when first switched on the GPS, said it would take 4 hours. I laughed. Actual driving time was 6 hours - with 1 hour for stops. So got to the hotel about 7 pm. Traffic was heavy, especially after the tollway leaving Bangkok (tollway was empty, as soon as got down it was stuck, but moving slowly and not stop n go). Nervous God
<> If you call 350 kms near - I think you mean Udon LONG way from Korat, Chok Chai farm is about half way between Korat and Saraburi. Great stop, even if just for the hamburger, rather than going into the restaurant.
limbo
Probably, is all the same down there, right? For a simple Southerner at least ;-)
