limbo
I agree to differ on this, Thai prices apply if you show your WP which I have done on numerous occasions over the years. Or show your tax ID paper. If I'm outside of my province or on a holiday, there's no real need to carry my work permit with me.

huumlaar
And you carry your Tax ID paper WP reference is stamped in your passport. Far easier is the little Health Care Card, all employed Thais have one and recognize that - most wouldn't know what a work permit was. The little bloke in a distant National Park Booth wouldn't know if it's forged or not. The Health care card is the same as what he has in his own wallet. That's a small piece of paper that easily fits in my wallet, like the health care thingy. As if an average Thai has a clue what the WP stamp in your passport looks like. Horneytorney
Ability to own land and companies (full ownership) would seem to be the obvious ones. I thought full foreign ownership is possible in several industries, except the restricted such as media, forestry, fishing, mining etc.??
