Coss
My link The Democrat-led government under former prime minister Abhist Vejjajiva had spent much of the central fund, leaving the present government in trouble not having enough money for immediate assistance to flood victims, Pheu Thai spokesman Prompong Nopparit said on Sunday.Mr Prompong said the previous government had spent nearly 60 billion baht from the central fund, which now had only about 35 billion baht left. Therefore, the government did not have enough money to provide immediate assistance for the people affected by flooding and would have to mobilise funds from various ministries for this purpose. According to a survey conducted by Pheu Thai, there were now about 1.2 million people in need of help, Mr Prompong said. The Pheu Thai spokesman said he would on Monday give detailed figures on the money spent from the central fund by the Abhisit government to counter Mr Abhisit's claim that there was sufficient money to help flood victims. khunsanuk
Hi, Flash, you've been here long enough to know that 90% of any money allocated to 'help' people will end up in the pockets of those who already have plenty. Would also be interesting to see how much of that 60 billion Abhisit used was to pay for the crap the Red Shirts caused. Sanuk!
