i normally go to Phuket during low season as my birthday is in May and i like to have the celebration on the island.

but i had 2 trips late last Year during high season and to be honest i never really noticed a vast increase in tourists,the place is normally very busy at all times.

 

but chatting to a couple of people and while never scammed they thought they had been victims of pickpockets(but no proof and this can happen in any place in the world)but admitted they had been drunk after a night out and anything could have happened.

one reason why i carry nothing of real importance on my person when out at all times.

 

i think Red and i could have a few good nights out and not get in any trouble,we are both quite intelligent(well it seems Red is)as to what happens on the island.
