huumlaar
You left out the most important bit! The blood isn't thrown away but reused.
Coss
We consumed all of it in the first sitting, so I guess I didn't see that bit.

Redbaron
The blood itself was it cooked coss? or just poured on raw?
The_Munchmaster
Appears to be raw mixed with fish sauce and lemongrass infused water, then a little lemon juice to congeal it. Nice photo sequence Coss but not sure I want to eat the dish?
Coss
Well, I gave up worrying about risk and such a while ago. It really is nice to eat, and yes the blood is raw, but congealed. Healthy looking duck - cest la vie... I'm reminded of what Asians used to find unusual about western food: Cheese - rotten milk fat Caviar - raw (salted) fish eggs Etc
Redbaron
Just asking - would give it a crack... I survived china in 2006 no pom plem, bit of ducks blood would probably do me good. Looks delicious.
