And there are many things that are old wives tales and simply bullshit. It's relatively safe. People aren't that bad. Lot of beautiful women. What more could one ask for???? Things that are dangerous aren't the overt. The katoeys. The stupid fucking falang hooligans. The shady dealers in kitsch by the roadside. The corrupt cops. Nay, these things are all easy to navigate lest one be a complete moron, and then you're hopeless anyway. The thing to be wary of - is the genuine. It's here. And it's powerful.
