Flashermac
I spent my first six months in South Vietnam in a place where officially there were no more Americans. It had been turned over completely to the ARVN. It wasn't until after we got clobbered hard and the press discovered who we were that the Army pulled us out. I've never completely believed the US government about anything since then.
Flashermac
Flood reaches Pathum Thani Overflow from the Chao Phraya River on Sunday flooded communities on both banks in Muang and Sam Khok districts of Pathum Thani, just north of Bangkok. Some residents in the flood-hit areas began to use boats to get around after flooded roads in their neighbourhoods became inaccessible by car or motorcycle. Floodwater in communities on the east and west sides of the swollen river in Muang and Sam Khok were 20-40 centimetres deep as of Sunday noon. Members of riverside communities said the floodwater had risen quickly in recent days and they were forced to move their belongings to safer places as well as park their cars elsewhere. Boonchird Kongton, 47, who lives in tambon Ban Ngew of Sam Khok district, said he and his neighbours had caulked boats to ensure they would be ready to use after they noticed the water level in the Chao Phraya increasing swiftly in the past two days. http://www.bangkokpo...es-pathum-thani
