The following photos are my response to the Benya N image in the OP. The thrust of whose message is "Oooh look at us! We're doing something uniquely Thai, we're special because we're Thai." They are not, they're still aping western culture. The modern Thai culture after all, consists of Soap Operas, featuring actors who look like Chinese/Westerners, with sound effects from Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner.
