Specialist
16 meters of water and zero visibility means it is going to get pretty cool on the bottom. And I would want a bailout bottle, in case the compressor decided to ralph itself.

YimSiam
Brilliant profession - and gotta love Thais when you see stuff like this. I've been pretty down on my Thai times lately, but then something like this comes along (or the Thai women's volleyball success of a few months ago) and I can't help but be reminded why I love 'em! Flashermac
I recall that a few years back some divers found a sunken boat from the time of the flight from Ayutthaya when it fell to the Burmese in 1767. They raised the boat and it was full of items from that period, a complete time capsule. Another odd profession in the 1980s was panning for gold in the klong next to the gold shops. It seems quite a lot of gold dust had been swept out over the years and ended up in the klong. The gold hunters said they could easily earn more than the minimum wage that way. Haven't heard of it since, so I expect they pretty much exhausted the gold dust there.
