Specialist
I'd try Vasu, on Suk, at the Soi 7/1 corner. Second choice would be one of the Soi Arab exchange booths.
The_Munchmaster
There's an exchange in Chiang Mai that changes Scottish notes. That's probably your best bet.

Flashermac
I had an Israeli friend who loved the food there. (He spoke fluent Arabic and said no one gave him any trouble.)
acockasian
Anyway soi arab has some very good food! While you are there try it! W There are some great restaurants there! Amazingly cheap as well. Changing currency will not be a problem but the rates for some currencies might not be that good.
passingthru69
Yea, for the amount I have, we found out not worth much. So just hung onto it. No bigge like I posted prior. It came with some other funds I had bought. Think the seller was wanting to just get rid of it them selves Was a nice walk down there and nobody bothered us.. The wife was a little nervous, but it was a nice walk..
YimSiam
I like it down there - still has life and small commerce and lawlessness - kind of like Chungking Mansions in Hong Kong, a little glimmer of something different in a homogenized world. These days it's got an African component to it too, and everybody has something going on. Good spot.
