cavanami
There is a good bus map showing all the routes and bus numbers. I have taken the a BKK bus all over, many times but not recently. Other BMs are experts on the matter!
Flashermac
I used to ride the quite buses often just a few years ago, but this year I think I have been one only about twice. Simply too much traffic and too long a wait for the buses these days. There seem to be fewer buses now, at least on local runs.
cavanami
OK, from On Nut I would wait for the 507 that was going to Hua Lumpang (near China Town)...while waiting the 30 ~ 60 minutes, I would see dozens of #2 and #511, etc mostly one trailing the other 10 meters behind and one empty...WTF In Switzerland, I was taking the bus and it ran *** exactly *** on schedule...in fact, if it was early at one stop, it would wait a bit and then proceed... ...any chance Bangkok can make and keep a bus schedule :rotl: :rotl:
Flashermac
The Bangkok buses set out at about 15 minute intervals. But with the city's traffic, what usually happens is that 4 or 5 arrive in a row at the same time, then you have to wait an hour for the next 4 or 5 to arrive in a row. Dexi
" Bus no. 550 to Happy Land "....Sounds nice - I might go just to see what its like ...although if its anything like Paradise City( Nakorn Sawan ) then it may be a disappointment
khunsanuk
Hi, Happy Land is - or rather was - an amusement park. I think it's on Ratchayothin. It's been closed for years, so I doubt you'd have a good time there Sanuk!
Mekong
Hi, Happy Land is - or rather was - an amusement park. I think it's on Ratchayothin. It's been closed for years, so I doubt you'd have a good time there Sanuk! Happy land shut down way back in 1977 but there is still Still Soi Happy Land Trade Center on the old site, one of the business that operates there now is Ki-Te Spa and Massage so maybe it is now an amusement park for adults http://www.thaimassagemodel.com/Ki-te%20Spa%20&%20Massage/modelplace-map.php?id=
