Have you noticed, price of items sneaking up...again :dunno:

4 APR 2015 Diesel oil: was 25.09, now (18 May 2015): 26.39 (up 5%)

4 APR 2015 Case of 700ml Sang Som was: 3033, now (18 May 2015): 3083 (up 1.7%)

Crude oil is still at a low price: Crude Oil 59.69 but a 5% increase in diesel...WTF!!!

The Thai Baht is still weak (from Yahoo Finance this morning):

Day's Range: 33.4205 - 33.5605 52wk Range: 31.7500 - 33.9005

Is the weak Baht causing the price increases?

Diesel price increase has nothing to do with the cost of crude oil, it is due to rise on excise tax on Diesel from 0.0005 THB / Liter to 0.75 THB. Still a lot lower than excise tax on Gasolene which is 5.6 THB / Liter (down from 7.0)
