Flashermac
Can't parade or show the faces of suspects at crime news briefing? Not to worry. Thai police have a solution, and it's not a John Doe as one would expect. Pokemon Go characters have been used by Bangkok police in place of the photos of suspects who remain at large during a media briefing on Saturday following Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s directive ... http://www.bangkokpo...-suspect-photos
Coss
When you think of the number of people seeing Pokemon Go characters in their phones all day, one would assume that it would be a short time before such characters were apprehended. With such speedy resolution to the cases, police could award themselves reward money for : "job well done"

Coss
Vietnamese police is where the Lao police get their training. Vietnamese police aspire to be Thai police. Thai police get their training from TV, specifically Keystone cops movie clips and CSI and SVU. CSI and SVU get their smarts from gay Jewish scriptwriters. Gay Jewish scriptwriters know everything. YimSiam
I do like this side of Thai policing - everything has its lighter side, from murder to corruption to the search for suspects, and they don't hesitate to show it. Good on 'em.
