He tried some- horny as as hoot owl !! Has anybody tried or heard about Lupo & Vodka ? Maybe it has a lot of vitamin e ? Don't need a perscription for it either. 100 Baht a shot ?? As fas as I was told it was a caffenine based drink to give you energy. It would help improve your sex life in that respect anyway, no falling asleep on the job! This again was drank with Vodka. Lipovitan-D (of Japanese origin) known as Lipo is one of a proliferation of energy drinks in Thailand that contain caffeine and taurine along with other vitamins (mainly B vitamins). It comes in little (100ml) brown bottles that you see being recycled for 101 different uses, mainly coconut oil by beach hawkers. Unlike Red Bull it is uncarbonated, although the Thai bottled version of Red Bull (Krateng Daeng) is also uncarbonated. It is a bit sickly on its own, hence the Vodka, but it does the trick of giving that energy burst. I dont know if anyone knows if there are many differences between Red Bull, Shark, Theoplex D, Lipovitan B3, M150, etc,etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can't say I see a difference so it may depend on your own body's chemistry and metobolism, etc. Incidentally the mark up on the stuff is huge. I can get it from the store for about 10 baht and am usually charged 40 baht in bars, with vodka anywhere from 80 gto 100 baht. Bear in mind when you order it the girls will tease you and say 'you need power, eh?' Assuming you've hit the 'wall' and need something to re-energize your libido. Within 30 minuites I passed out right on the table of a restaurant and started to shake. I was rushed out to the hospital where the doctor wanted to put me on anti seizure medicine. It sounds like it could be the heat, or maybe a case of petite mal epilepsy, small seizures that occur once in awhile. Could also be a reaction to all the sugar in that stuff, any history of diabeties? Maybe it was all the blood rushing out of your head into, well, the other head! Guest Posted June 23, 2002 Report Share Posted June 23, 2002 I went to my real doctor when I got back and he said that it sounded like I fainted. I have fainted maybe three or four times in my life. That was my first time in a tropical climate, and I had just spent the last few days drinking a lot of Sing Ha and screwing like a freak. All I know is that I was feeling good but a little tired, I downed the Lipovat, went to the restaurant and passed out. Perhaps it's coincedence. P.S. are you going to the temple tomorrow? Palatkik Posted June 23, 2002 Report Share Posted June 23, 2002 I don't have any bottles with me at the moment, but as I recall the Lipovans, Krathing Daengs, M150's and the like usually have a warning written on the side suggesting restricting consumption to 2 bottles a day.
