Mekong Posted October 14, 2022 Report Share Posted October 14, 2022 Well the reporter who wrote that headline must be an Aussie or a Kiwi, Cyclones, Typhoons and Hurricanes, they are all basically the same thing, but are given different names depending on where they appear. Cyclones occur in South Pacific and Indian Ocean Typhoons North West Pacific Hurricanes Atlantic and North East Thailand has Typhoons not Cyclones unless it has moved.
