Guest
Some ATM's will issue 1000's, however, I have noticed that MOST ATM's issue 500's (of course 100's and 50's as well)... --UPSer
khunsanuk
Hi, It depends on the amount you withdraw, but usually it will be 1,000 Baht bills. 500's maybe used if the machine is low on 1,000s. Smallest denominator they will issue is 100 Baht bills. Sanuk!
Guest
Khun Sanuk, I use (most frequently) the ATM at TFB's main branch and TFB's ATM at Thai Airways Main Office and each of these will dispense b50's.. --UPSer
khunsanuk
Hi, Could very well be. I never withdraw small amounts (get charge 1$ regardless of the amount I withdraw). I have seen several machines stating that only 100, 500 and 1,000 Baht bills are available. Sanuk!
aussiedoug
All ATM's have only 2 or three cash drawers, so you can only get those combination, usually 1000 and 500 bht notes, I think UPSer meant 500bht notes, I have never seen an ATM spit out 100BHT notes, that's $3, not worth it. Usefull if I hitting the bars and need some small change for those critical moments instead of just having a wad of 500's or 1000's. Thanks in advance. Chris I used the TFB and Bangkok Bank ATMs around Sukhumvit between Sois 3 and 21. I usually as for an amount such as 4400 or 4900 baht so that I can get some 100 baht bills. 90 percent of the time I will get 1000 baht bills instead of 500s.
