Guest
Pattaya. A lot of places were closed last night (24th) leaving some beer bars open. No music and dimmed lights. Today, the 25th, most places will be closed. A couple of beer bar owners said they were thinking of staying open but were not 100% sure. The thai karaoke places out on Thepprasit Road will be open tonight. No alcohol will be sold, as the police seems to enforce the rule quite stricktly... TokBet
Sort of late, but use this for future reference... Most places were OPEN in Pattaya on Thursday night. Some had the lights off and no loud music, but everything else as normal. (For example, the places on Soi 8.) The string of beer bars on Beach Road had the lights off, no patrons, but a few seemed to have women bartenders willing to serve. Only saw one Go-go on Walking Street which was closed. Rest were open. Things were a bit quieter than usual due to the lack of patrons. So much for shutting the place down.....
