fatbastard33
I have noticed that Foodland, Soi 5, has a selection of wines but I was wondering whether it also sold Champagne. If so has anybody the idea of what is the price? Cheers Fatbastard33
Old Hippie
I seem to recall seeing it there. Also at villa (soi 2 in the basement of Ploenchit center). Also at a place in WTC. Maybe try Emporium. I don't rememmber the exact price, but as I recall, what would sell for $15 in the USA was maybe $25 or so, never bought it there. I may be mistaken, but wasn't there a "high end" wine/spirit shop in Emporium or WTC? I can't remember where, but I remember seeing it someplace. gene1944
Emporium has a "regular" (read as "expensive") wine shop on the 5th floor near the grocery store. Also, a sub section of that shop has premium wines in a separate air conditioned room. Some good wines available there and prices are very expensive. gummigut
Villa market (?) at the bottom of Ploen Chit center has a REMARKEBLY good selection of wine. I'm sure they'd have some champagne as well. Just a hop skip and a jump from Soi 4 <<burp>>
Mentors
Nothing against champagne, maybe its your birthday only, or you like to drink this. I hope its not something more that do you think you have to do a ceremony.

I checked price at the Emporium (sorry forgot names of Champagne but one of them was Moet &Chandon(?) for 3000-4000 baht.
My Cow Jai
Try Tops in the basment below the Robinsons between soi 17 and 19. Good selection of both sparkling white wine and branded french champagne. Bit pricey though...

Many thanks for checking the price. Seems a bit pricey - may get it at the Duty Free shop at Heathrow. Cheers Fatbastard33
