Bangkok Flooded!?

Suk Soi 42 was flooded as well, hell of a traffic jam.

My gf went to school in a skirted suit and high heels but returned in 5 minutes to change into a T-shirt, 3/4 trousers and flip-flops.

In her class - only 3 out of 12 students turned up.

Well, guys, when you see an apartment on the market at a favourable price, think the street/area may be prone to flooding.

Worst I've seen in 13 years here.

I was a prisoner in the house until midday, when the flood eventually subsided.

makes me wonder what would happen if it rained like that for lets say 4 days solid. Nothing like a few inches of rain to bring Bangkok to an absolute standstill.

Im a bit confused about this.

Girlfriend called this morning to see if I was okay and not flooded in?

I didn't have a clue what she was on about.

Petchaburi Road is fine, judging by my dry clothes on the balcony it never rained here last night either.

Granted a hangover means I cannot venture futher than the internety cafe in my soi.

Yeah my GF and I got caught up in this too tried to get into Robinson food centre for breakfast but the whole basement was flooded so had to go elsewhere. Ambassador food court was like a lake all day. Most of it had subsided by nightfall though.
