Old Hippie
You might want to concider the Bright City Towers on Soi 11, put Bright City Tower-Bangkok into a search engine like google, and you will get the web sight with prices. which IO think start around 800bht or so, fully serviced! with kitchen etc... nice place! Close to night life, and yet, not to close. Aalso, I have heard of decent places around Soi 5? for around 4-500bht/nt. Far enough? Or maybe go to one place, and spens a day looking for something else...
dsab
You might consider Admiral Suites in Soi 22. It's a brand new 5 storey serviced apartment. The montly rate is 33000 net. (incl. utilities etc) for the 45 sqm apartment. As far as I know it belongs in some way to the "President-Park" Group. Just booked there a suite, and the confirmation came from them. Cheers, Daniel
Guest
For that rate you would get a room in the Federal or the Ambassador both off Soi 11. Federal is 960 if you book direct. The Ambassador main wing is 1000 but cheaper on a monthly rate. Uniformguy
Guest
Shinobi didn't specify 1000 baht a night. The rooms are accurately represented on the website. So, if that standard of room is acceptable to one, then that will be the way to proceed. :-) Plus the rooms come in way under budget 7k(fan room) to 20k(standard air con) monthly. That's a saving of 10 to 23 ST's in a month!
Guest
The following url is out of date but has quite a list of hotels and phone numbers that you can use to research. Notice it doesn't include everything or newer hotels: For rooms 400 baht and over: http://www.infothai.com/bangkokmag/bkkhotel400.htm For rooms 1000 baht and over: http://www.infothai.com/bangkokmag/bkkhotel1000.htm

Guest
Thank you very much. The prices stated are really steep, but the rooms look very nice. I like the balcony. I will keep them on my list.

Guest
1,000 baht per night, right? If you're saying for a month or longer, you can talk the price down to 30,000 baht/month for an Executive studio at the Royal President on Sukumvit 15. It's stylish, lavish, and with service. Utilities are also included in that price. You only need to leave a one month deposit, although, there are ways around that.
