Pescator
You should tell a little bit about your planned itinerary first. Cheers Hua Nguu
Sarisin
Hey, vinod, I am in dreary NJ too myself now. Yes, please be a bit more specific so you can get some responses. For example, are you looking at Bangkok, Pattaya, where? What kind of Thai music? Pop, traditional, etc.? Have a safe trip over, I will be following on NW the 28th - Thanksgiving. Lord Toad
Look in bangkokgigguide.com Look at the venues details to get what you want, but there are several good Thai restaurants with music, or maybe music venues with thai food. Saxaphone Brew Pavillion Colliseum For farang food (tends to be expensive) Fabb Jazz Cafe Reflexions Spasso Huntsman Etc.

follies
I think it's at victory monument (skytrain stop), facing into the square NW corner, easy to spot from the station...
Grabii
Says follies: I think it's at victory monument (skytrain stop), facing into the square NW corner, easy to spot from the station... It's at Victory Monument, SE segment, next door to a doughnut shop that's now out of business. Yes, very easy to get to from the skytrain station east (north-bound) side. Guest
Any further details on Saxaphone from anyone who has been there - opening/closing hours?, times for the singers?, types of food, prices?. cover charge?, etc. TIA, Garuda
sanukdee
I was there 2 weeks ago. Opens around 6:00 pm with music starting about 8:30. Closing? didn't stay that late. Great place if you like jazz music. 8 piece bands with 2 saxaphones, etc. The food is average at best and over priced. Better to go there after dinner for a couple drinks. More farangs then Thai people go there. No cover charge. Cocktails 160 baht and beer about 120 baht.
