If I had the dosh I wouldn't hesitate to live all year round at the hotel However, contrary to samak, I don't think there is a dress code in place -- at least not at Vertigo and the top floor bar. I've been to both many, many times... went their with a visitor, who really thought he needed to wear shorts in bangkok!!! the lady at the entrance told me politely in thai that the other guy was not welcome. never experienced that before in bangkok except at the Grand Palace and at the Oriental...
