Age old deflection tactic. In fact, my father said the SAME deflection was used in the ‘60s. First, the big lie. Crime has dropped significantly but no one is reporting this. Its dropped in low income black neighborhoods but no one is reporting or talking about it. There is an area in Brooklyn, once high crime area that has NO MURDERS for almost a couple years now. The FACT is Chicago’s rate is dropping as well. There are numerous rallies, grass roots program that have been visited and attended to by black athletes, entertainers, etc. but it does NOT make national news and often not even local Chicago news.

Did you know that according to official FBI and U.S. Department of Justice reports, the rates of violent crime in the U.S. are now at their lowest level in 40 years? Did you know that violent crime rates of 2010 were 1/3 the rates of 1994?

 

Second, the old age black on black crime. What is so unique about a black criminal killing another black? While tragic, why is that so different than the SAME or higher rates of crime of whites killing whites, latinos killing latinos. What makes it so unique? The FACT it is isn’t. From time eternal the same groups have preyed on each other. The Italian mob started out shaking down other Italians and expanded. The Irish gangs, Jewish gangs, etc. did the SAME thing. Whites do the SAME exact thing but in HIGHER numbers than Blacks on Blacks. Discuss that KK? Explain that please?

 

Violent crime since time eternal has been a function of poverty. The Irish committed almost 70 percent of all crimes in NYC by the mid 1850s. The term Paddy Wagon was coined because the police wagons were filled up with so many Irish. Jews, who never formed criminal gangs in Eurpe despite being marginalizd in ghettoes, a term coined for Jews, formed criminal gangs in America. Meyer Lansky, Dutch Schultz, Bugsy Siegel, and many others. Why? They were so marginalized by the majority culture many so no other way and reacted. Lower Eastside NYC,had the highest crime rate in NYC at one point while it was an overwhlelmingly Jewish area. Until Italians, Jews, Irish were accepted by the majority culture, they formed criminal gangs.

 

NO ONE discusses places like large areas of West VIriginia and Kentucky that have been poor, crime riddent for CENTURIES. For at least 300 years parts of West Virginia, Kentucky, and other places have been poor and white. Worry about those places KK.

For others who are more sober minded. The key to ending the stats about blacks, latinos and the poor? infrastructure spending, its needed, its a no brainer, many economists on both sides of the idelogogical equation endorse it. Fact is America's infrastructure both in bricks and motor, and tech is crumbling. America should have been one of the first countries with high speed lines. Go to Japan, Fracnce, Korea, their infrastructure is much greater. Mass transit ease to parts of the country. Internet access. There should have been a high speed line from Boston to Washington with points inbetween stopping in Hartford, NYC, Philly and Baltimore 30 years ago. Why not? The airline and car industries have bought off the pols. Millions of jobs from no skilled to high tech. American jobs, given to American companies. Energy related infrastructure, bricks, transportation, etc.
