khunsanuk Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 Hi, Actually, I would really NOT like to work for Apple. From all accounts Steve Jobs is a complete asshole and tyrant at the office. Used an iPad for a couple of days (borrowed from a friend). Didn't care for it at all, even my wife who was VERY enthusiastic beforehand stopped using it within a day or two. Sanuk! simie Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 No, I'm still not tempted at all. The new one is a slight improvement and they have dropped the price by £100 here in the UK. But still no USB port/s for fuck sake?! The big price drop would lead me to think that as many here seem to think, after the Apple/gadget fanatics have bought one others in the mainstream are still scratching their heads wondering what the thing is actually for? I'm quite happy with my laptop and HTC Desire Android phone. Could still be tempted in future to buy another Apple laptop but the iPad just does'nt do anything for me I'm afraid. Simie.
