  1. A lot of support and goodwill for Takky has disappeared over the past few months since he is perceived to have manipulated Thai Democracy to his own ends for his return to Thailand. MFP win election, PT agree to form coalition, senators block it, PT form a coalition with the “Old Guard” form Government and low and behold Takky gets basically a free ride.
  2. I am confused, did Panpri Phahitthanukon make the donation of 3M THB from his own pocket (a fine gesture) or did the government make the donation (fuck all) The article doesn’t make it clear if it was a personal donation or a government one.
  3. After being taken to the hospital by the rescuers, the Russian driver will be investigated Headline states “Russian Driver Crashes with Motorcycle” From article “The Russian Driver will ne investigated” Nowhere does the article mention “Alcohol, Drinking or Drunk” So where did Detective Coss surmise they were “Staggeringly Drunk and jumped on a rented motorcycle” and that Rush Hour is at 1;00 AM?
  4. Looks like a typical day out in London

I wouldn’t go that far, but there are cockwombles in the UK who move to Villages and complain about the noise of the Church Bells or to the Countryside and complain about the smell of silage and slurry.
  6. Pathetic excuse for police to “Play Halloween” Why just not turn up in plain clothes? Don’t tell me Mr Wanchai Saeng-udom knows the identity of every Bangkok plod.
  7. As seen in bars in Texas
  8. Come on Coss, the article did not say vaccinations caused amputations, what it did say is vaccinations could cause complications with diabetes. The cause of amputation amongst diabetics is either Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) which is the thinning of the arteries which restricts blood flow or Diabetic Neuropathy which is nerve damage.
  9. Exactly, I don’t think it was deliberate, more the fact that Stick was showing empathy towards Dave who is a good mate and years back was his “partner in crime” around the Bangkok Nightlife. But like it or not Stick is a public figure and some nutters hang onto his every word and no doubting a fair few of them will now be thinking “Vaccines cause Lower Limb Amputations, it’s TRUE because Stick said so”
  10. And I never said that you ever said it was to do with Covid, but what you did say was that the complications were a consequence of the Covid vaccine which is a coincidence and not a proven connection.
  11. So based on such you have come up with a casual analysis that ( a ) Covid Vaccine cause ( b )amputation of limbs amongst diabetics. Correction does not imply causation. I once ate chicken sandwich before playing a game of football in which I broke my leg. According to your logic chicken weakens bones making them more suspectable to fracture where as I recognise it as what is was a coincidence Diabetics are 15 times more likely to need a lower limb amputation than people without the condition, that so more than 135 a week and I have not seen any peer reviewed reports stating that the Covid vaccine has increased this figure. I am not saying that Covid Vaccines cannot cause complications with ongoing health conditions, what I am saying is based on evidence I have a hard time believing that Covid vaccine is responsible for an increase in LLA’s amongst diabetics.
  12. Peterborough and Addenbrookes (Cambridge) Hospitals are in the UK though, so either Dave’s private Health Care in the USA flew him to England or in fact Dave is English.
  13. I think I saw them supporting Hawkwind in1976
  14. OK we have differing definitions of “Die Young “ then, to me if someone under the age of 75 dies of heart disease, cancer, chronic lower respiratory diseases, stroke etc then it is classed as “Dying Young” where as accident and suicide are tragic deaths, or a waste of a life etc Semantics I know, but to me “Dying Young” means dying early of a disease associated with later on in life, my way of thinking and nothing will change that.
  15. Is drowning a cause of death reserved for older people?
  16. A woman was in a coma for months.. Nurses were in her room giving her a blanket bath. One of them was washing her private area and noticed that there was a slight response on the monitor when she touched her. They tried it again and sure enough there was sizable movement. They went to her husband and explained what happened, telling him, "As crazy as this sounds, maybe a little oral sex will do the trick and bring her out of the coma." The husband was skeptical, but they assured him that they'd close the curtains for privacy. The husband finally agreed and went into his wife's room. After a few minutes the woman's monitor flat lined, no pulse, no heart rate. The nurses run back into the room. "What happened?!" The husband said, "I'm not sure, maybe she choked."
  17. Mike Johnson helped Trump on January 6 - now he’s a threat to democracy The Louisiana congressman Mike Johnson, whom Republicans in Congress elected as their speaker after more than three weeks of leaderless chaos, played a key role in Donald Trump’s attempts to subvert the results of the 2020 election. Johnson amassed enough support to win the speakership because of his allegiance to Trumpian ideals, earning him the nickname on the far right of “Maga Mike”. A litmus test of sorts for the speakership was alignment with rightwing views, including believing in a stolen election, though the firebrand approach of failed speaker candidate Jim Jordan soured moderate members, despite his election-denying bonafides. 18. Isn’t that a prerequisite for being a Republican now a days?
  19. Isn’t that against the First Amendment, Separation of Church and State and What Not? Not surprised TBH since the founding fathers were puritans and in a country where some schools teach creationism and Intelligent Design over Evolution. A country where a large percentage of the population believe that the earth is only 6,000 years old and a lesser so percentage believing that the earth is flat. Basket case of a nation

  21. The Thais caught up in the Israel-Gaza war In a village lying close to the Mekong River, Weerapon "Golf" Lapchan sits in the centre of a group of Thai elders as they tie white threads around his wrists and chant. They are literally calling his "kwan" or spirit back to his body, after his narrow escape during the Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October. The 34-year-old is one of more than 25,000 Thais who were working on farms and orchards in Israel when the Hamas militants stormed in from Gaza. At least 30 Thais were among the 200 or so foreign nationals who were killed in the attack. Now the Thai government is helping others, thousands of them, to return home. Thailand provides almost all the foreign farm labour in Israel. And there have been warnings of dire consequences for the country's agricultural economy if large numbers of Thais choose to stay away after the Hamas attack. Many of the Thai workers have to borrow money to go to Israel and now they are returning, jobless and in debt. Full Article
  22. A popular K-Pop band appears to have made a mix-up by donning retro Rangers tops at a show in Texas. STAYC were performing in Dallas as part of their US tour. But instead of wearing local baseball team Texas Ranger's tops, the girl group appeared in 1990s kits worn by Glasgow Rangers. The six-piece group which has found success in Korea and Japan are currently embarked on their "Teenfresh" world tour. Soutce
