  1. You're a bit late - been dead nearly a year << James Garner Actor James Garner was an American actor, voice artist, and comedian. He starred in several television series over more than five decades, including such popular roles as Bret Maverick in the 1950s western ... 3. No, don't get Blue about this Cav, it's good news http://www.iflscience.com/health-and-medicine/silver-turns-bacteria-killer-zombies <<The reason for powdered silver's exceptional antimicrobial properties has been revealed, and it's probably inspiring film scripts right now. Bacteria that absorb the metal die, but then start killing their neighbors in a zombie-like massacre.>>
  4. Was about to ask about a half in cable, only half the data gets there? Seriously?
  5. Yes - well, some of us do this for real work, and others . . . . play games
  6. Waerth, what you wrote was "Electricity producing thrust": What you left off, is the need to have a propellant. The story you posted actually mentions that important detail. ION drive is electrical thrust. It also has a propellant.
  7. Here you go, note this is all real, working, in use today, http://www.popularmechanics.com/space/rockets/a7513/what-ion-propulsion-means-for-boeing-and-our-future-in-space-7685623/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrically_powered_spacecraft_propulsion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_702
  8. <<Very short from the way I understand it. The Em drive is supposed to generate thrust from power (electricity) alone. Which is theoretically impossible. But in previous tests and in this test it actually does exactly that. And while testing it they found what looked like small warp bubbles being generated.>> Seriously? Thrust from power is impossible? Did you not read in this thread that one of the Satellites I'm currently working with is using electrical thrust, not in orbit keeping, but as a launch stage by electricity? ION Drive, nothing theoretically impossible, Russians been using this technology for orbit keeping for 50 years, Boeing is using it for a launch to GEO orbit stage. NASA has used it for years as well.
  9. Yes, lots of these out there, I like this one in particular
  10. I started to write a porn novel once, this was as far as I got Her pubic hair undulated in the breeze, like dark dank seaweed on a New York beach.
  11. <<Lemmy was a self-confessed inept guitarist who used volume and stagecraft to cover his lack of ability.[2] He became a bassist by accident after joining the band, thinking he was replacing Huw Lloyd Langton. Lemmy said: “ I knew the guitarist because he took eight tabs of acid and then we never saw him for five years.[3] â€>> Brialliant

  14. FARK, I'd hate to say but I'm with worth, lots of good music emerging all the time
  15. Republic of Pirates, Colin Woodard, noon fiction, very very interesting - Pirates at the time, far from being the evil we're taught actually are democratic, happy to have any colour or race, free'd the poor, disliked royality, and loved the pretender to the crown. Very interesting read
  16. Not to forget Thailand managed to take over the southern borders of Laos, which makes the top half of Isaan change from Laos to Thai. Interesting the treaties of the time. Thailand couldn't build a town or city close to the river, Udon is a new city, relatively speaking, I think just 100 years old Nong Han, right beside Ban Chiang was the oldest trading town/city for many centuries. Very old city, now now not so big.
  17. Thai Baht I'd love oit to go to 40/50 baht to the dollar!
