Guest
Hi, Artie. Actually "sex worker" to me seems clinical, because that's what's used these days in academic studies of prostitution and the like, and that's what I'm used to seeing. A lot of the Chulalongkorn studies use that. BG seems okay to me; you know, a girl who works in a bar. I have no problems with freelancer, either, but yes, slut and whore are over the top. Sarasin, I don't think I've caught flak myself for using "ladies," which I use with the intention of it being a polite term. These girls, ladies, or whatever term is appropriate, do deserve respect. I have used the term "whoremonger" to describe myself sometimes, but that was meant to be lighthearted, and I guess I won't do that anymore now.
