I can understand teaching them Thai, but why waste time on such a quaint little language like French?

Brinkie,

Well I took French as an example only, just to show that the more languages one knows, the better education....

Something that passed you obviously as you dont speak French :neener: :neener: :neener:

Salutations cordiales :)

Je etudie Francais quand j'etais dans l'ecole. Heureusement j'ai gere pour oublier presque il tous

S'il vous plait pardonner ma mauvaise grammaire. Cet a ete des annees.

Damn, I couldn't get any of the accent marks to work. Every time I tried to continue and post my reply the accent marks get converted into gibberish. Does anyone know a way around that?

Anyway, It's not like I'm going to make a habit of posting in French. :neener: :neener: :neener:

Salutations a vous mon ami. :grinyes:

Merci mon professeur,

But I really did mean "Heureusement." :neener:

Aside from that thank you for the lesson.

Now I'll return to speaking English and Thai with the odd bit of Spanish and retire French to the rarely used part of my brain where it resides.

Funnily enough although my grandmother's family was Dutch I never learned any of that language. It probably has to do with their assimilation into Canada. Ah well, maybe I'll learn a few words if I ever get to Samui.
:grinyes:
