Hi

Ha ha .

Rugby League has a one point for a field(drop) goal..and they use every chance they get,,,go in at half time one point ahead etc.

Leave the rule in IMO.

England coach Clive Woodward said today""Australia has seen nothing yet...we can play really boring rugby if we want""

I get paid to win..and to win we can play boring football if we want". :nono:

He has had the teams hotel and dressing rooms at the ground searched for listening devices :D

London Saturday cloudy min12c max 16.

Sydney Rain 23c

Home away from home for the poms IMO

Oz are not running scared..its all tactics.

THe State premier has asked all employers to allow staff to wear Green and Gold to work Friday and saturday ::

My girls will wear the jersey(only) ha ha

Hi

All Blacks V France

Not much at all in the papers about this game Thusday night.

Still a great game in the making IMO.

PRIDE if nothing else..there will be blood on the floor in NZ next week...but if they lose this game....a New name ""The All Reds""...from the blood letting
:dunno:

I don't believe; 33 - 13 for NZ after 60 minutes. Too sad they were back to their real strength too late....

Says Peter1964:

OK, NZ at least third.

Hi Peter

Yes NZ third.

They won 6 tries to 1....no drop goals btw.

Englanders....no drop goals..good running rugby. ::

1.4mill through the gates(new record for world cup rugby) so far...very big success

I think the all blacks needed the win ..save face and contracts back home IMHO

Imo, they have deserved more than a third place (at least being in the final). But it is the same as with soccer, not always the best team gets a good classification (e.g. Germany during the last world cup), especially in a tournament.

But NZ lost to OZ.. the better team won on the night...not a pretty game but NZ lost the plot and hence the game.

Yep. true. Let's look forward to saturday!

If the Wallabies are to win on Saturday they are going to have to take control of the game early, not just in terms of possession and territory but to convert those advantages into points. I cant see them defending a narrow lead or coming from behind, England are too strong at the end of a game.

Dont forget England can play some great running rugby too, that's how they beat Australia a couple of months ago. It will be a great occasion on Saturday and hopefully a great game. I have said all along that England have too much class and that will tell in the end.

I dunno, but you lot seem to be quite infatuated by all of this, and seem to be adopting the stance that if we do win then it will only because England were boring and JW kicked the cup back to England.

Quite frankly in a way, with all your press hysteria, I hope it is a boring final and Jonny boy kicks all our winning points.

However from a spectators point of view hopefully it will be an exciting match, but ... winning is what counts at the end of the day and if its a kicking match what goes around comes around, to quote Sayjaan ..

hhmm i see 2 things in the papers today which are interesting.England were knocked out of the last WC because someone kicked a World record 5 drop goals against them.

and in the 1999 semi-final the Aussies won by an extra-time drop goal from all of halfway.

that kick was described as a thing of 'rare beauty'

oh and to Racha .. Nice to see your guys put them Frogs in their place and get some sort of respect back .. and The Cavalry is on the way

Anyway All, enjoy the weekend .. An England victory, 3pts for the Gooners and a blowout from Bubbles ..

Cheers

K.
