Rape is rape? Statutory may mean with an under legal age? Whatever they should get the book thrown at them if all this is true.
naughtyboy
An Irish edition of one of the tabloids this morning are claiming that the guy who agreed the transaction plays for a club with no financial problems. If true no delight this week.
sayjann
i agree rape is rape and if these men are found guilty then they should be hounded out of the country. i'm just confused by the word Statutory,it's not a word we see that often in the UK. Steve
Statutory Rape: sexual intercourse with a person who is below the statutory age of consent. If its 16 y.o. then it isn't. Each state here is different but its nationaly set that if you're under 18 you can not be in pornos, or things like that. There are girs in the porno industry that signed contracts to porn companies on their 18th birthday or soon thereafter. Makes you think what they were up to before that birthdate! With regards to the issue at hand. If the allegations are proven true, it seems so stupid of them. They should serve time not only for forcibly holding a girl down, but for their stupidity as well. They are professional footballers and can have the pick of numerous girls...willing girls...numerous pretty willing girls! Some of you old timers, have any thing similar to this happened before? Lazyphil, we can rule your club out. When was the last time Owen was effective in the box anyway? :: So, its a good idea to remove any Toon players from my fantasy then, eh? Long Gun
Says chocolat steve: So, its a good idea to remove any Toon players from my fantasy then, eh? You should never have allowed any in there in the first place, IMHO. You were asking for it, mate. I thought your fantasies would have all been about a bit of rough sex with Keown or someone. sfcfan - I hope your lot bring a good crowd up with them tomorrow - I will be listening very closely to the chants on the radio!! Talk is that the club are very close to going public, without naming names, lest they be accused of covering up when the story breaks properly. I saw something about arrests within a week or so. What odds on Breda coming back from 0-5 in the 2nd leg? Obviously, I'm very distressed that our beloved neighbours should be at all implicated in these scurrilous and totally unfounded rumours. String 'em up! LG
