With an estimated number of 600,000 HIV+ persons in Thailand it's 1 in 100. Still. I reckon that in the population bracket of people that you and I meet (say, women between the ages of 22 to 30) the figure may well be 1 in 50 or 1 in 40. So, no reason to be careless.
