Straycat Posted January 27, 2004 Report Share Posted January 27, 2004 There is a newly opened 'Top Charoen Optics" in the corner of Sukhumvit and Sukhumvit Soi 71, formerly Dunkin' Donuts. (BTS station 'Phra Kanong'). While I have no personal experience of this particular shop, I have bought glasses from the Top Charoen chain in the past. They have good service & a fair selection of both brand names and no-names. Prices I've paid -- and I've only bought brand names -- have been about half compared to the West. Good selection, good prices, great staff & doctor. It is a chain so there are others around the city, but i cannot speak for them.
