Pom Michael
OCgringo, Here are the instructions from an earlier post: GSM Web Messaging. http://www.ais900.com/gsmweb/ or http://203.170.228.139/ On the mobile phone: 1. Type message with a password, 6-8 characters only. Or send a blank message for no password. Note: Make sure that the phone is in English character mode before you send the password or blank message. 2. Send message to : 900931 You will receive a message back "You can use this service without a password. Status enabled <GSM Web Messaging>" or the same message with your password. 3. Now you can go to the website and send the message (up to 160 characters in English/ 70 characters in Thai). Leave the password field blank if you registered without a password. 4. The costs are about THB 3.00 / message (the receiver pays). {Note - you can see when the phone is out of money as you will get a message saying that the message couldn't be sent due to insufficient balance}. To check password : send blank message to 900930 To reset password, send a new password or blank message to : 900931 To disable service, send a blank message to : 900939 This is only for AIS/1-2-Call phones. If the phone has Int'l Roaming then you will get the messages overseas also. Cheers!
Guest
These instructions are for the RECEIVER of the text messages and only if they are on One2Call. If on the post paid system, they are already registered. If on One2Call prepaid, you will have to inform them somehow of the need to register their mobile telephone. They can also register by calling *931(better option for Thai speakers) The costs were listed as 1 baht plus VAT per message, though, knowing AIS......
