HSTEACH
I need an apartment somewhere in the lower Sukhumvit area for my wife for about four months or until she finally gets her K-3 visa to come to the states. She currently lives in a female only complex that allows NO men visitors. She doesn't need falang standard accomodations, maybe something in the 8-10 K Baht range. Any suggestions? Thanks!! Sporty
"She currently lives in a female only complex that allows NO men visitors." As it's the only reason you gave to move. What is wrong with that ?
Nervous_Dog
Bangkok gardens is haerdly in the 8 - 10 k range, and no where near Suk. Try about Soi 30's - 70 and you'l find something, or try Victory monument area. JB
gummigut
Why would you want your wife to live in the lower sukhumvit area? Much better places all along the skytrain! <<burp>>

HSTEACH
She works at the Ambassador, but really anything close to the skytrain would be OK. Just a place that's in a safe area of town. As for why she wants to move, we married at Christmas and she wants to play "house." during the six weeks I'm in BKK this summer. I guess that's a "woman" thing. As I said before in the opening post, she'll be headed to the good ole USA in early October so the apartment will be only a short term rental. ..
Liberty Place on Suk Soi 22. There you can get serviced studios for B10-14K depending upon your negotiatiing skills. No service is about B6500-7500, but those are usually full. Cheers, SD
Stickman
Suksabai Apartment in one of the Petchaburi Road sois (12? 14?) is close to the Ratchatewi BTS station, about a 5 minute walk. Rooms there go for the price range you mentioned. Stick
thegreatone
Congratulations! What part of US? Why from 12/03 to Oct 04 for Visa, I did the whole thing in less t than 3 months. Why not leave her where she is and get a service apartment when you come to towm??Ambassador has them!!!
