khunsanuk
Hi, "Do you have the same statistics available on posters?" No, sorry, although I think it would be possible to extract this from the database. Sanuk!
jxxxl
KS, Are you able to know the number or times a logged-in user opens a given section? What about a user that's not logged-in? Also, I would think there would be a way to know when a thread is opened by any user, logged-in or not. Perhaps Delphi isn't providing the ability to calculate this info? Anyway, I can understand if this is your prorietary info, but it would go a log way to understanding how people use the board.

khunsanuk
Hi, "Are you able to know the number or times a logged-in user opens a given section?" No. "What about a user that's not logged-in?" No. "Also, I would think there would be a way to know when a thread is opened by any user, logged-in or not." The database keeps track of this for logged in users, which means that I suppose I could get it out. Question is why though. "Perhaps Delphi isn't providing the ability to calculate this info?" Delphi? We left that behind years ago Sanuk!
jxxxl
KS, I was just curious if the info was available and easily accessable. It's really just to feed our questions about how users use the board. I'm not suggesting anyone do any work to get the info. I can't remember why I thought Delhpi. What is the engine that runs this board?
