carlton68 Posted November 18, 2004 Author Report Share Posted November 18, 2004 Just saw in my gmail account that I was granted pop3 today or yesterday. I did the neccessary settings, waited a few minutes and tried to retrieve my emails via outlook. Worked. It took them less than a week to enable pop3 for my new account. That's nice. My new Gmail account is already running, including pop3. gomez Posted November 27, 2004 Report Share Posted November 27, 2004 Funny, I've had a gmail account for quite a while, it contains 951 emails, but never got one from them giving me pop3 access. Did the set up, but it doesn't work. Oh well, it's a great webmail program anyway -- beats my commercial ones all to hell, except pop3 works with them....
