I store a lot of files as backups in gmail, using the gmail drive program, and I shudder to think that every file I store in there will be sent back to me. If it is in your inbox you will download them for sure. I checked if it helps moving them to gmails archive, but it poped the mail anyway. I hav no more ideas. kamui Posted November 30, 2004 Report Share Posted November 30, 2004 Wow, Gmail is quite fantastic. It nests all mails from and to a sender together. The chaos in my mailbox is over. Furthermore it is the first program which even stores emails I sent FROM Outlook! Which means I have a complete backup of my all my mails on Gmail without the need to think about backups. Maybe I will move to Gmail completely, but I will wait until the beta phase is over. PS: I just entered the world of blogging and set up my own blog at blogger.com (which belongs to Google as well, as far as I know). My life is more and more online....
