I'm hoping that you wouldnt commit rape in *any* state, but I take your point. I guess only the people in the hotel room(s) know the real story. One of the 'suspects' refused to submit to a DNA test, on the grounds that drunken gangbangs were against his religion. A helpful middle-aged guy tried to chat with him in Swedish as he had thought he may have been a countryman - that's how hard he must have been to understand - and got a load of abuse for his trouble. Maybe not so weird as Finland was a Swedish province for many years until the Russians concqered it. Swedish is still an official language in Finland and a minority regard it as their native tounge. Many Finnish people understand Swedish even if they don't like to speak it. Not so many years ago it was mandatory for Finnish children to learn some Swedish.
