Zaad
Hi all, My girl went out for the weekly shopping yesterday and returned without beer She told me that they refused to sell alcohol since it was not after 5 pm yet. :: Since when do we have to follow this RIDICULOUS rule? :onfire: This was at Lotus btw. Crap.
khunsanuk
Hi, Has been going on for some time now. No sale of alcohol between 2 and 5pm. Sanuk!
Khun_Kong
Pretty sure there's another thread about this. No alcohol except 1100-1400, 1700-2400. I think there may be an exception at service stations, if that makes any sense.
Zaad
I had no idea about this. What a load of crap Anyway, guess I need to buy a second fridge for beer supply only to avoid emergencies such as yesterday's

Neo
Does anyone know the reason for this? Particularly the ban between 2-5pm?
thalenoi
Too many thais are drunk, this new law will save them. Btw, just bought a bottle of wine this morning in Chumpon at 10.15am, no problems....

Guest
Zaad, this has been discussed before. It used to be you could buy alcohol 24 hours a day, now it has been reduced to 10 hours a day.
ALHOLK
Hi! Nowadays I can't go down to Family Mart and by a beer any time I feel like it. I therefore make sure that my fridge is well stocked all the time. The consequence of this is that I drink more. I would be surprised if many Thais don't do the same. regards ALHOLK
