I guess it goes back to the feudal days - the peasant girls were out in the sun while the courtesans and nobility stayed inside. Gotta admit that I think pale Chinese and Japanese women often look sensational - the whole 'porcelain doll' trip. By contrast, pale women from places like India, Thailand and Vietnam often dont seem as attractive (to my eyes) as their darker cousins. Well, that was over 10 years ago, so she'd be thirty now, and most likely married and living in Finland, or Germany, or USA or Canada by now, as she was actively seeking a husband/sponsor type of guy. The best 'on top' lady I ever met though. She could ride you 'til you begged for mercy, and was a true 'spinner'. :: I wish her the best of luck in life. Don't know if that has more to do with what is on the menu or if the preferences of farang have similarities in taste. I do like a dark skinned lady though, or at least it has no influence on her beauty or lack thereof in my eyes. I've had all shades, from white as snow with the delicate veins of her nearly translucent breasts visible, to as black as coal, and all the colors in between, even 'red'. I don't know if it is a 'turn-on' for me, but I do like the exoctic looking ladies. To each his own I guess. Or as the song says, "Whatever gets ya through the night!" (Lennon?) The korean loved the Thai girls, the chinese find them ugly and HATE to have to go to Nana. MUCH prefer the Chaing Ria/mai pale skin girls. After being here a few years, my taste has moved nearly completely towards the lighter well-presented girls. Granted the darker girls do generally seem to have a better body for us Westerners (more rounded, firmer) in comparison the Chinese girls, but there was just something about the clear-skinned, taller, silky-haired lighter office women that oozed class and mystery. They know they are not the foreigners' "spec" and so are actually pretty surprised when one is interested in them. I guess I was tired of the majority of darker girls looking for a sponsor and also trying too hard only to get a foreigner (not Thai man spec at all), whereas the lighter girls were independant and could choose. There was the challenge. I remember the smirks I used to get for walking with a girl I used to find as "exotic", but who locals saw as the bottom of the barrel. Then the surprised looks you get when socialising with a lighter-skin classy office girl. Maybe locals' opinions of what is attractive vs. unattractive has shaped my taste over the years too. Now when I visit places like Siam Square, RCA, Thonglor I cannot see even the most buxom shorter darker girls in the same way.
